It’s hard not to be in awe of Chamonix surroundings when you first set foot in it, I came at a good time too. The end of March was approaching and there hadn’t been any snowfall for 5 weeks, it was reasonably comfortable between 15 – 20 degrees and still there was plenty of snow around as well .
