Church of St Anne, is one of Cork City’s most iconic buildings that lies at the north side of the city ( yet many businesses on the south side insist on using Shandon in their name despite being several kilometres away from it ). Music can be constantly heard from these bells at a daily rate. This is unfortunate for two reasons, first being that the bells only have 4 notes to play and the visitors that get to play them only know the melody to Three Blind Mice .
Update: I was wrong, on a recent visit you can play up to 8 notes but that still doesn’t stop people from playing Three Blind Mice
